True Blood. Trueeeeeeee. We were fortunate enough to hang out in the back dressing rooms with Mehcad Brooks in between takes during the filming of his new movie, “Just Wright”. That’s righhhhhhhttttt. And no we didn’t see any nudity. No angles of dangles or moons over my hammy.
Here’s a little insight. Mentally unstable are also prime candidates for movie shoots. As long as they wear wrangler jeans, arrive with long, slicked back grease lightening hair, and wear white wifebeaters. It wouldn’t hurt to curl two pound dumbells in the holding area or drop down and give 20 sit ups while at the shoot either. See if you can spot the freak of nature in the video.
In true Emily and Brooke fashion, no lonesome soul gets left behind. With that said, we met this firey little Cuban-born, Miami based, New York transplant named Javi. (That’s a hard H. Not Jay. It’s a ha.) He was hard up for cash so he was at the shoot by himself. So we were nice enough to let him charge his iPhone before we started blogging. Next thing we know, one thing leads to another and we now have a third follower. We really are the nicest souls, but we really do love Javi. He’s amazing. And we miss him but will be reuinted with him soon!! Shouts to Jav!!!

Here at The Commuters.com (ok, it’s not a dot com yet but it will be soon, these things cost money- two dollars to be exact) We want you to get the most out of your web surfing experience. While this video doesn’t pertain to most of you since you can navigate through the internet (you are here aren’t you?), I thought I would still share.
Two weeks ago, The Commuters were bumpin’ elbows with Justin Long and Drew Barrymore on the set of “Going The Distance” (We got face time in the movie, so go see it!) and Tomorrow The Commuters take on the set of Queen Latifah’s New movie, “Just Wright”. Dat’s right. We be bumpin’ elbows with Queen Teef herself. What a bad bitch she is.

So I know what you are thinking. What the fuck is this shit? Is this another porn-bot and not a real girl? Well to be honest, we really aren’t that sure either.
This was basically a whimsical idea started by two girls Emily Donahue, writer/make-up artist/wrestles lions and Brooke Anthony, aspiring television host/sexpot/movie quoter extraordinaire. The point of this blog is, well, we are still also working that out. We are going to be doing pretty much all video or “webisodes” based on whatever we figure out. Ideas of interest so far include:
- “This Week In Hi-5’s” consisting of us basically doing kick ass Hi-5’s with anyone that will let us.
- “Hipstervention.” It’s like “Intervention,” but us helping those plagued with skinny ties, hand-rolled cigarettes, fedoras, and not showering. We will also do interventions for people that have addictions to Blackberries, Twitter, lame Facebook applications (Farmville, YoVille, I hate you), and bad dating.
- “People Associated With Celebrity” interviews. Want to know if the rumor about Kelly Clarkson only eating S’more flavored Pop-Tarts while on the crapper or Lady GaGa having a penis are true?! WE WILL FIND OUT!
- “You Are A Cheap Ass.” We will be setting up a camera in random areas in NYC and record people trying to pick up the shitty dollar coins you get as change. Oh, we will also be super gluing it to the ground. How many tries will it take!? Will someone come back with Goo Gone?! Only time will tell.
- “Between Two Palms.” If you have ever seen Zach Galifianakis’ “Between Two Ferns,” you will notice I basically plagerized the title and I’m stealing the idea. Only difference? We will be playing the actors and either Brooke or myself will be conducting the interview. Have ideas on people you want us to be? Challah at us. Also submit questions. And possible answers. And money. And n00dz. We like to look.
